HBO has released the first trailer for their upcoming documentary, Spielberg. The film centers around the titular director Steven Spielberg, who is known for countless acclaimed works like Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, and Saving Private Ryan, amongst many others. The new trailer features interviews with frequent collaborators of Spielberg and goes through the director’s long and legendary career. It’s rare a documentary like this one comes around nowadays, so make sure to give this one a look come October.
Spielberg will premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 5th before airing on HBO on October 7th. Take a look at the trailer below.
20th Century Fox has unveiled the latest trailer for Murder on the Orient Express. The mystery thriller is being directed by Kenneth Branagh (Cinderella) and is, of course, an adaptation of the renowned Agatha Christie novel. Branagh also stars in the film as genius detective Hercule Poirot, who is determined to uncover the murder of a passenger on the Orient Express. The film is unsurprisingly lavish and features a wide range of beautiful visuals. The new footage will hopefully help this one get the boost it needs to reach a wider audience come November.
Murder on the Orient Express also stars (prepare yourself) Tom Bateman, Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Leslie Odom Jr., Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Marwan Kenzari, Olivia Colman, Lucy Boynton, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Sergei Polunin. The film arrives in theaters on November 10th, 2017. Check out the stylish new trailer below.

Netflix has released a new trailer for The Meyerowitz Stories. Directed by Noah Baumbach (Frances Ha), the film follows the titular Meyerowitz family as they gather together to celebrate the work of their father. This type of dysfunctional family drama is something Baumbach often incorporates into his films, particularly with While We’re Young and Mistress America. The Meyerowitz Stories premiered to strong critical acclaim at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, so it’s quite possible this one could be in contention this awards season. What’s even better is that star Adam Sandler looks to finally be getting back into more the complex characters that we’ve missed from him over the last few years.
The Meyerowitz Stories also stars Ben Stiller, Elizabeth Marvel, Dustin Hoffman, Adam Driver, and Emma Thompson. The film will be released on Netflix and in limited theaters on October 13th, 2017. Check out the new trailer below.
Warner Bros. has released the first official trailer for the Tomb Raider reboot. The studio previously released two short teasers yesterday, but this latest look gives fans a deep look into the video game adaptation. Starring Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl), Tomb Raider is based off the bestselling video game series about young female adventurer Lara Croft who explores ancient tombs and lost civilizations. The studio is hoping to successfully reboot the series after Angelina Jolie’s two ill-received Tomb Raider movies back in 2001 and 2003. And luckily it looks as though Vikander and director Roar Uthaug (The Wave) have found a great balance between pleasing Tomb Raider fans while also creating a strong female action hero for a modern audience.
Tomb Raider also stars Walton Goggins, Dominic West, and Nick Frost. The film will swing into U.S. theaters on March 16th, 2018. Check out the new trailer and poster below.

Coming off Charlize Theron’s killer performance in this summer’s Atomic Blonde, it now seems another actress wants in on the spy genre. Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: Days of Future Past) stars in the upcoming thriller Red Sparrow, and 20th Century Fox has just released the first trailer. The spy film reunites Lawrence with Hunger Games: Catching Fire director Francis Lawrence, so hopefully their past collaborations will help make Red Sparrow a memorable entry in the genre. It features Lawrence as an expert government agent who uses seduction — and any other means necessary — to eliminate her target.
Red Sparrow also stars Joel Edgerton (It Comes at Night), Jeremy Irons (Assassin’s Creed), and Matthias Schoenaerts (The Danish Girl). The film is set to hit theaters on March 2nd, 2018. Get a few kicks and punches in by watching the trailer below.

The idea of Blade Runner 2049 is probably one that many first thought was unnecessary and just downright foolish to attempt. The sequel is having to follow in the footsteps of one of the most renowned science-fiction movies of all time – and it’s coming decades after the fact. But the stunning the new trailer released by 20th Century Fox will probably make all the skeptics out there think otherwise.
2049‘s first trailer wowed us with its beautiful visuals and thrilling action, while also adding a few nice nods to the original. One way 2049 is succeeding is that the film is clearly aware of what’s come before it, but there’s also the mystery in what novel aspects the team is bringing to it. That’s especially true for director Denis Villeneuve, who manages to create both smart and thrilling movies like Prisoners, Sicario, and last year’s Arrival. He has shown his confidence across multiple genres, so 2049 really is a perfect fit for him.
Combing the talents of a Villeneuve with an A-list cast including Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Robin Wright, and original Blade Runner star Harrison Ford, it’s hard to see how this one could turn out anything but phenomenal. The film is looking better and better by the day, and it will surely be around come Oscar-season. So get excited.
There’s a lot to admire in the new footage. It features more gorgeous shots of the dark noir city, and a few intriguing hints at Gosling’s backstory and mission. It’s hard to say at this point how it will all fit together, but this new trailer should convince you of 2049‘s potential to become one of the best films of the year. Take a look at the new trailer for Blade Runner 2049 below the beautiful poster.
Blade Runner 2049 hits U.S. theaters on October 6th, 2017.
